Rob, Rachel, Emily and the Jolly team are delighted to welcome you.

We are open 7 days a week for pub and rooms April to September

From October through to March we will be closed on Sunday evenings for dinner and all day Tuesdays.

A relaxed and welcoming setting awaits you in our beautiful cosy pub which is warmly decorated with stylish, comfortable decor and local artwork. For bookings of more than 8 people please email hello@thejollysportsman.com or phone 01273 890 400. For bookings of less than 8 people please book online using the button above or below. If you have any dietary requirements please do let us know in advance of your booking and the chef will accommodate. Please also let us know if you require a high chair with your booking.

Please note that any changes to your party size after booking must be communicated before arriving or we cannot guarantee being able to accommodate. Please arrive promptly for your booking. If you wish to have a drink before hand we recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your booking time.

We only allow well behaved and quiet dogs into the pub and garden. Please be aware of other guests at all times when bringing your dog.

We are delighted to host Christenings, wakes, garden parties, anniversaries, birthday parties, weddings or any other event you may need.

The Jolly Sportsman can seat up to 70 and we have a light and airy Garden Room over looking our beautiful garden that can provide a semi private dining area that has been designed to cater for more intimate gatherings with family, friends and colleagues. A stunning garden, garden bar and terrace also provides plenty of space to enjoy in the summer months.

Corkage & cake fee

£3.50 ph for cake - only if you don’t order dessert. Homemade cakes available in house @ £7.50 per head

Service Charge

A discretionary 12.5% serve charge will be added to each bill.
