Some information on Emma:
Using just one or a combination of the different healing modalities I’m trained in, I can completely tailor to your needs and requirements.
Aromatherapy massage - essential oils balance and calm the emotions , massage releases tension and trapped energy and toxins from within the body .
Reiki energy healing - channeled energy that soothes and heals all of you . Clearing blockages and reconnecting to your spirit the part of you often neglected .
Sound healing - I use koshi wind chimes and tuning forks to help your mind relax and release stress . All music is selected by you and contains frequency healing .
Hypnotherapy- much like a guided meditation but a little more neuro science . Through relaxation and positive suggestion you can completely shift perspective. Breaking negative mental loops and thinking . If you feel stuck this is for you it can identify why and pull you out of it . Even one session can leave you feeling much clearer and more motivated .
All of the above are designed to get you in the deepest state of relaxation possible.
Allowing your body and mind to completely let go so we can clear any stress anxiety or negativity. That heavy feeling .

Stylish and exceptionally comfortable, The Jolly Sportsman, near picturesque Lewes, is the perfect spot for a charming and tranquil getaway nestled within the peaceful South Downs National Park. Imagine cosy evenings by the fireplace with a pint of beer and waking up to the sounds of nature outside the window. A hidden gem off the beaten path, yet under an hour from London and less than 30 minutes from Brighton, this is one of the most idyllic spots in the Sussex countryside to enjoy dining on delicious local food and wine and exploring Sussex’s many attractions including Glyndebourne, Gatwick, Charlston, Plumpton Racecourse, Brighton, Lewes, Seven Sisters and the Bluebell Railway. For more things to do in the area click here. With stunning views, vineyards and walks on your doorstep, you can really disconnect and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We offer four beautiful boutique bedrooms above the pub; three kings and a larger suite room which can accommodate two small children. All our rooms have comfortable super king size beds with Egyptian cotton linen and fluffy towels & robes, quality mattresses, luxurious en-suite bathrooms with spacious waterfall showers accompanied by sumptuous products, Nespresso machines, organic tea facilities, flat screen TVs with Netflix and Amazon Prime and free Wifi. There is a mini fridge in each room with Sussex still & sparkling water, Downsview Dairy milk & homemade seasonal cordial made in house. A walking booklet with a variety of walks in the area can also be found.
A delicious local Sussex breakfast is served in the pub downstairs in our cosy red room by the fire during the winter months, and in our Garden Room or in the garden in the summer months. There is a roof terrace with broad reaching views of the beautiful Sussex countryside which residents can enjoy exclusively.
Furry friends
We allow well behaved and quiet dogs into the rooms, pub and garden. A charge is added onto the bill to cover extra cleaning costs. Please be aware of other guests at all times when bringing your dog. We have a ‘doggy box’ in the corridor with towels, shampoo, blanket & bowl. An individual goody bag for the pups is also given if we know about your furry friends coming in advance.

Open 6 days a week for rooms (closed on Tuesdays Oct - March - a pre made breakfast will be given for those staying on Monday nights during this off peak season)

Prices start from £150 per night
Check-out: 11am. All payments of rooms (UNLESS PRE PAID) and any extras such as dinner/lunches are paid at checkout.
Please note the rooms are accessed via wooden steps that are reached by going outside the pub, so are not recommended for people with mobility issues.
